What are bottom suction tables used for?
It is the ideal solution for many applications such as grinding, sanding, polishing and welding. Models with self-contained fans and filters as well as models that can be connected to a central filter system are available all over the world.

Thanks to a properly designed and air-calculated bottom suction table, the dust and fumes generated as a result of the work done on it are sucked from below and filtered.

Is it also suitable for welding?
In general, yes. In welding applications that require shielding gas, such as MIG/MAG and TIG, it is necessary to ensure that the shielding gas will not be sucked from below.

Which powders is it not used for?
A filtered system should not be used for aluminum and similar explosive dusts. ATEX systems can be recommended, but the best solution is to settle it in water or discharge it directly into the atmosphere. The MSDS forms of the materials should be well examined and checked for explosive properties.
